hello my name is Gabriel Gonzales, founder of SOMA VERITAS. I am here to inspire the deepest truth and most authentic expression for myself and others.

i used to live a life of isolation, anxiety, and depression. completely out of touch from myself, my body, and everybody.

I would stay up late at night in agony of my loneliness feeling this tension in my soul from the life i was living and the live i wanted to live.

I wanted so badly to be connected, to have community, to feel free to express my self to my fullest. but the stories I told myself got in the way. the tightness in my body shut me down.

This all changed when I found mens work. i began to attend men’s groups were we would sit in a circle and talk about life, it was great for me at the time, but i knew there was something missing. there was still this sensation inside of me that crushed my throat when i tried to share, so I just ended up being a wall flower.

By chance i found embodiment work.

finally.

things began to change.

slowly but surely, i started to open up more and more. my awareness shifted from my addiction to my emotional state to my breath, presence, and body. things that used to make me freeze started to lose their grasp. life became warm again. people started to feel safe. my truth started to feel safe. my authenticity started to feel safe.

I decided that I wanted to be on this wave of embodiment work to teach other men and create a community.

the lineage I am apart of is through the embodied masculine, founded by Amir Khalighi. There we learn the principles for transpersonal facilitation which draws influence from kundalini yoga, shamanism, animism, somatics, hermeticism and jungian psychology.
